Scientific research experience

At the ETM center, we have a team of professionals, including several Ph.D., Masters, and engineering degree holders, with extensive experience in technology and environment management. ETM laboratory system meets  ISO/IEC 17025:2017 – VILAS 327 quality standard, VIMCERTS 052 certification. Furthermore, ETM has successfully built a network with experts,  universities, and institutions both domestic and abroad.

Thus, ETM is fully capable of conducting projects which require professional expertise in terms of technology and environment management.

The following are some outstanding projects completed:

  • Conducted strategic plans and programs to protect the environment, for enterprises, provinces, cities and nation;
  • Planned and carried out projects, tasks, researches for governmental departments, boards, and branch in the following fields:

-  Climate change and sea level rise;
-  Managing wastes: municipal solid wastes, hazardous and non-hazardous industrial wastes, sewage sludge, wastewater, and green house gas emission;
-  Managing natural resources and biodiversity: surface water, ground water, minerals, forest and sea resources;
-  Systemizing environmental information system; on-site investigating and examining, handling information statistic, establishing databases to manage wastes and wastewater; creating networks to monitor environment quality.

  • Training in the field of technology and environment management: compiling training documents, organizing specialized seminars and conferences, on-the-job training (sampling, responding to and resolving environmental problem, etc.);
  • Setting up research models in laboratory and conducting technology transfer;
  • Cooperating and sharing experience in the implementation of international projects in the fields mentioned above.

Some projects implemented:
