Eurofins accompanies Thien An - Coordination Department and shares the story of her efforts, come along with the wonderful colleagues who have helped her grow into what she is today, in the “Eurofins People & Occupation” series

Pressure Makes Diamonds

The above quote is from An Le Thien HUYNH, Coordination Department, our main character today, sharing her desire for the working environment at Eurofins Sac Ky Hai Dang.

Thien An currently is a Coordination Manager - she is the youngest person at the Management level at Eurofins Sac Ky Hai Dang nowadays. At first glance, it sounds like the introduction of a talented young girl with a favorable reputation, but for Thien An, it's all about great efforts and determination.

After graduating with a major in Biotechnology, with the orientation as one of the important industries in the future, entering life it seems that it will not be too difficult to find a satisfactory job, Thien An received cold water in return. Thien An received consecutive shocks failed interviews, and was repeatedly rejected in many positions that An thought would be suitable for her. It wasn't until more than four months later, when she began to feel discouraged, that Eurofins responded with a job offer, which An herself dubbed "the fateful call on the October afternoon".

The journey here is not easy either. Starting with a small position until today, like many other colleagues, Thien An has experienced many different jobs, in many different departments, all with their own pressures, all having to go through a difficult time in order to succeed. overcome, just like a diamond must be under pressure to shine and create its own value.

When achievement is called having great teammates

It has been 5 years of youth with Eurofins, besides the success in work, having a great colleague is a trophy for Thien An. She told" Starting as a Sample Processing employee, after 6 months I moved to the Sample Registration department, where I was trained as well as being trusted by my boss to give me the opportunity in different jobs such as being in charge of the Union or in charge of the department's Lean". Those jobs and positions are all brand new things to An, sometimes the workload is probably more than her ability and work experience, but “An considers this a very fortunate thing, thanks to these opportunities that I have met, working and learning more from other seniors and colleagues, everyone is a united group, ready to support and help An”. She excitedly added: “It would be a big mistake not to mention the boss that I am extremely proud of, she is a wonderful person who wholeheartedly teaches and opens up opportunities for me to be able to work and develop…”

Through her great boss and colleagues, An had the next journey with a feeling of becoming more mature and more confident than before: “2 years in the position of Team Leader has helped me grow up, learn to make constant efforts in everything from adding specialized knowledge to soft skills; above all, dare to make decisions and bravely take responsibility for what I choose. Especially, after going through a pandemic with many changes, I was trusted by company to give me a new opportunity - An said.
