Alcoholic Beverage Testing

Why test alcoholic beverages?

For business and production establishments: Alcoholic beverages such as wine, beer, etc. directly affect human health, so the State restricts production and business. However, if they want to put these products on the market, business establishments must conduct alcohol testing to determine the content of substances in the products. This is a mandatory and necessary requirement if businesses want to start a business and stay afloat.

For consumers: During the production and distillation of beer and wine... some impurities harmful to human health may be generated. These substances, if absorbed a lot and for a long time, will damage the stomach, liver, and brain and even cause death. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct alcohol testing to ensure the quality and safety of alcohol, beer, and alcoholic beverages, thereby protecting the health of yourself and those around you.

Regulations on alcoholic beverages testing

In order to control quality and ensure food hygiene and safety, the Ministry of Health has issued Decree 15/2018/ND-CP on testing alcoholic beverages. Accordingly, wine, beer, and other alcoholic beverages must meet the National Technical Regulations for alcoholic beverages according to QCVN 6-3:2010/BYT before being marketed.
