Duong Lam Tuan NGUYEN: Eurofins – An opportunity for those who are always curious and learning
Eurofins accompanies Duong - Information Technology Solutions department and shares his own story about the process of constantly learning and developing direction for himself, in the “Eurofins People & Occupation” series

First milestones
Our main character today is Duong Lam Tuan NGUYEN. Contrary to what you often hear about "IT guys", Duong is an extremely funny, friendly person who always brings vitality and positive energy to all his colleagues.
Duong is currently holding the position of Regional IT Solution Manager for Vietnam, Thailand, and The Philippines, playing an important role in the operation of the laboratory. He and his colleagues in the department ensure that the laboratory management systems, one of the key advantages of Eurofins, are in top condition, are always updated, and improve operational efficiency.
With such a unique position, few would expect that Duong's journey to the Technology Solutions department had gone through many turning points. Duong shared about his career milestones at Eurofins: “Starting as a Chemistry student at the famous McGill University in Canada, I spent the first 4 years working at Eurofins with many positions and different fields. Starting with the position of Chemistry Lab Staff, then, I tried my hand at the job of a Sales Department employee, then a Consultant and Result Specialist, and also an Assistant Production Manager. In 2019, I started to try my hand at a new position as a Business Analyst. This position requires me to constantly explore and learn to help the company build and develop solutions for software systems to help operate more efficiently.” All of the above are just the first milestones in Duong's journey at Eurofins.
Opportunity for those who are always searching and learning
Duong has had a lot of experience with different jobs at Eurofins, facing the difficulties of each position and department. In the process of working with customer care and laboratory management systems, he found it interesting to manage the system himself, being able to adjust the components himself. can promptly serve the working process as well as immediate support customer's problems. As a result, the job of IT Solutions became attractive to Duong, and he is now satisfied with his position as regional head of Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines.
With the journey to take on many different positions during nearly 8 years working at Eurofins, many times Duong has faced obstacles that made him falter. Duong chooses to "go straight to difficulties", and actively find a way to overcome them: "Dare to think, dare to do, must overcome one's own limits"
Sharing about the things that helped him break through, Duong also did not forget to mention the working environment at Eurofins: “I consider myself lucky because I have been given the opportunity to learn and develop continuously according to my capacity and aspirations. At Eurofins, I get to work and accompany a management team full of enthusiasm, trust, and autonomy for employees; Collaborate with enthusiastic colleagues.
