Beta glucan and health benefits

Beta glucan is a compound formed by the linkage of single sugar D-glucose molecules together via β-glycoside bonds. Beta glucan usually exists in two forms: (1,3/1,6)-β-glucan and (1,3/1,4)-β-glucan, these two forms differ in viscosity, molecular mass, and viscosity. their solubility, spatial structure and biological properties.
The 1,3/1.6 form has higher biological activity than the 1,3/1.4 form.
