Why is Asbestos bad for you?
Asbestos' risk varies depending on the sort of product in which it was used and its level of deterioration. Without some kind of professional study, it's impossible to identify if a product contains asbestos. Because asbestos is "friable" (easily broken) and agitated into dangerous dust, demolition and remodeling are the most common ways to disturb asbestos-containing components in the home.
