Program to implement environmental license & registration

In accordance to the Environmental Protection law

In accordance to the Law No. 72/2020/QH14 on Environmental Protection effected on January 1st, 2022.

  • Investor/Project Owner whose investment projects are under operation phase and had received the Environmental License (or “Env. License”) before the above Law shall conduct/renew their Env. License in case of:
    • Had received an Approved limited-term component Env. License (renew before expiration).
    • Had received an Approved unlimited-term component Env. License (renew by December 31, 2026).
    • Had received the Approved Env. License (apply for both limited-term & unlimited-term component) but had CHANGES their scale, capacity, production technology resulting in environmental adverse impacts different from the approved Environmental Profile (renew by December 31, 2026).
      • Had not conduct Env. License and is subjected to conduct Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report (conduct Env. License before trial operation of the wastewater treatment system). 
  • Investor/Project Owner whose investment projects are NOT under operation phase prior to the implementation of Law No. 72/2020/QH14 on Environmental Protection shall conduct the Env. License/Registration in case of:
    • Projects which subjected to conduct Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports must conduct Env. License (before being put into operation, right after an EIA approval decision is issued).
    • Projects which are NOT subjected to conduct EIA reports must complete Env. License (before conduct Construction Permit).
    • Projects which generate wastes but NOT subjected to conduct Env. License must conduct Env. Registration.
